Whirlwind of a Week

Hey friends!

Well, I've now been back in the U.S. for about two weeks. Has it been that long already?! North Africa was amazing and now I'm back to everyday reality. For me that looks like job hunting. I am looking for work in the Columbia, SC area. It is somewhat frustrating as I have applied at so many places and have had very little positive feedback as of yet. But I know that God has something out there for me and He will provide as I keep looking. Please pray that He would provide a good job for me soon. Thanks!

This week is going to be a whirlwind of a week. Today and tomorrow I am doing some serious job hunting as well as studying for my big interview I have on Friday. On Wednesday I am going to Six Flags with some friends from school and am super excited about that! Thursday morning I will drag myself out of bed early and head to the airport to go HOME for a couple of days! I'm so excited to get to go home and see many of you! I get to hang out with my family, play with my dog, see good friends, go to MY church! It will be a great couple of days.

Friday morning at 8:30am I have my consecration interview. This is like an ordination interview for girls. That is the big interview I am studying for this week! I am sure it will go just fine, but I'm still nervous about it. Most of you know that I have a horrible memory and there is so much to remember! On Saturday we are celebrating my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary! I have family flying in from all over the place and it will be super fun to all be together again. It has been so long. I will get to meet spouses and kids and all sorts of people who are related to me that I haven't met yet! Sunday I get to go to church and then share about North Africa after the service. I am excited to share what God did this summer! Monday is full of appointments and last minute stuff and I head back to South Carolina on Tuesday. And somewhere in there I need to learn how to drive my new Harley Davidson V-Rod!

I would appreciate your prayers for this next week while I'm home. I want it to be a valuable time full of good memories and Kingdom work. Thank you all for being such a special part of my life!
